Lots of sunshine, blue skies and temperatures that remain mild and stable all year round.Located in the Atlantic Ocean, Madeira’s climate is influenced by the Gulf Stream and Northwest winds, which blow towards the Cape Verde islands. The sparkling landscape is the result of a veritable subtropical climate that provides balmy temperatures all year-round, with the temperature of the sea following suit, inviting swimmers to bathe all year long. Temperatures on Madeira Island remain temperate and constant throughout the year. During the summer temperatures vary between 17 and 24º, and in winter between 14 and 20º. |
